At Nexsentio, the Site Lead plays a key leadership role in daily operations. They are the driving force behind daily success at each Nexsentio site. By combining communication, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence, the Site Lead ensures every shift runs safely and efficiently.
Big Picture:
- Lead the day-to-day activities of assigned team members to ensure all work meets client expectations and Nexsentio standards.
- Maintain awareness of staffing, supplies, and site needs during assigned shifts.
- Serve as the first point of contact for questions, direction, and minor client interactions during shift hours.
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all operations.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and shift-level training in partnership with the Site Supervisor.
Day-to-Day:
- Assign daily tasks according to the site’s cleaning plan and client scope of work.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to review priorities, safety reminders, and special instructions.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure timely, complete task execution.
- Perform inspections throughout the shift to verify quality and compliance with standards.
- Communicate with the Site Supervisor regarding attendance, shift coverage, or supply needs.
- Address employee questions, minor performance concerns, and provide real-time coaching.
- Maintain accurate shift documentation, including attendance, task completion, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with overlapping shift Leads to ensure smooth handoffs between teams.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Promote safe work practices and immediately report hazards or incidents.
- Step in to perform duties when team members are absent or during high-demand periods.
- Represent Nexsentio professionally when interacting with client representatives.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a janitorial, facilities, or maintenance role, with leadership or lead experience preferred.
- Proven ability to guide, motivate, and communicate effectively with a diverse team.
- Understanding of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemical safety.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, organized, and able to maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform inspections for extended periods (up to 10–12 hours).
- Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive movements (up to 50 lbs).
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, equipment, and varying temperature conditions.
- May be required to work evening, overnight, or early morning shifts depending on client schedule.
